How ClipCook works
Six short pieces on the path from a clip to a printed book. Nothing here is a tour of buttons. Each one explains what the app actually does with a video, a photo, a key or a cookbook.
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Safari. ClipCook reads the public text. It does not download the video.
On device Apple Intelligence writes the recipe on the iPhone. On a compatible device there is no account and no key. Long text is split, then put back together for you to review.
Your model OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or another API.The key stays on the phone. ClipCook never receives it. You pick the model from your own account.
Other ways in A photo, a paragraph, or your own hand.Photograph a page, paste a transcript, or type the recipe with no model at all.
Books From a list of recipes to paper.Sections, a cover, four layouts, and a PDF in A4, A5 or A6 that you can print.
Privacy The recipes live with your Apple ID.No ClipCook account and no recipe server. iCloud keeps the library. Keys stay on the device.
