Privacy
ClipCook is a personal cookbook. We do not operate a ClipCook account or a server that stores your recipes.
What is stored
Recipes, photos and cookbooks live on the device. On iPhone and iPad they sync with iCloud on your Apple ID. On Android they stay on the phone. Reinstalling the app or switching iPhones with the same account brings them back.
How we import a video
When you share a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram link, ClipCook does not download the video. It reads the public title, creator and description when those exist. The cookbook keeps a link to the original so you can watch it again.
AI extraction
- On iOS 27, Apple Intelligence processes recipe text on the device.
- If you connect another provider, the recipe text is sent with the key you paste in Settings. That key stays on the phone (on iPhone, in the Keychain). ClipCook never receives it.
- The provider may charge you according to their own pricing.
What we do not do
- We do not create a ClipCook account.
- We do not sell data.
- We do not use third-party analytics in the app to profile you.
