# The recipes live with your Apple ID.

ClipCook does not run an account and it does not run a server that stores recipes. On iPhone and iPad, recipes, photos and cookbooks sync with iCloud on your Apple ID. Change phones, or reinstall the app, and they come back with that same account. Settings shows whether iCloud is signed in.

API keys are the exception. They stay on the device that you pasted them into. They are not uploaded as part of the library.

## Language

The interface can follow the language of the phone. If that language is not one ClipCook ships, it falls back to English. You can also pick a language in Settings: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, Russian or Urdu.
